1Chro.16v9: “For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries”.
What do you see in the midst of crisis? Do you see opportunities or difficulties? The answer to this questions is determined by your perspective and positioning. The truth of the matter, however, is that not everybody sees opportunities in the midst of crisis but I want you to know that opportunities are buried or exist in the midst of every crisis. In fact, opportunities are birthed in the womb of crisis! This is what Apostle Paul also meant in (1Cor.16v9) and if you look at the Good News Translation of this Scripture, it brings it out better i.e. “There is a real opportunity here for great and worthwhile work, even though there are many opponents.” It is evident from this scripture that the great Apostle Paul identifies that opportunities exist in the midst of crisis.
I want you to also know today that regardless of whatever crisis you may find yourself, there are windows of opportunities in that crisis. You only need to change the way you look at crisis. Start seeing crisis as a blessing in disguise! How do I mean? To understand this truth better, I want you to consider the following stories in the Bible:
– If there was no famine in Samaria, there was no way the 4 leprous men could have prospered exceedingly and become the agents of God’s deliverance to Israel (2Ki.7v3, 10).
– If Queen Vashti had not been removed, there would have been no way Esther could have become the queen. The crisis in the royal family paved a way for her emergence (Esth.2v1-4).
– If there was no crisis in the life of Ruth, she would not have followed Naomi to Israel and she would not have married Boaz (Ruth 1v16-19: 4v13).
– If there was no crisis in Israel, there wouldn’t have been any way Daniel and his 3 friends would have been brought to Babylon as captives and if they had not been captives, there is no way they would have become men of influence and power in Babylon (Dan.1v3-4, 17-21).
My dearly beloved, I hope you can now see that there is a miracle in every mess; there is a ministry in every mystery and there is a blessing in every burden. So, you need to stop looking at crisis from a negative angle and start looking at it as something you can profit from. I pray that your eyes will be able to see the opportunities in every crisis.

Prayer for Today: Precious Holy Spirit, help me to see the good in every bad situation. Help me to see the pot of blessings that is buried in every crisis in Jesus name, amen.
CONFESSION: I believe that there is a blessing in every burden. I believe that there are opportunities in every difficulty and I choose to see the positive instead of the negative. I believe that the best will come out of every crisis for me. Therefore, I am maximizing every crisis profitably to the glory of His name. I am lifted in the time of crisis. I am maximizing the opportunities in every crisis I find myself. Glory be to God; I am profiting greatly out of every crisis of life.
