She was not limited by her background:
This was just an event and a phase in her life, (been an orphan, having no father nor mother. Also a slave in a strange land) but she didn’t allow all these to affect who she was and whose she was, thereby helping her to have a healthy self-image of herself. We are not a product of our circumstances, we are who God says we are.
Do you see yourself the way God sees you? Just like Joseph and Daniel in a strange land, they knew the God of the covenant, and this made them stand out.
No matter where you have found yourself in life, you can still make a difference. So, stop the pity party syndrome and put your destiny in your hands.
