James2verse26 ‘For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.’
Learning to take the initiative is something that has the potential to change your life. This is why you need to develop the ability to take initiative. As you can also see from our text scripture in James2 verse26, faith without works or corresponding actions is dead. So it doesn’t matter the kind of faith that you have if you refuse to take steps in the direction of your faith, it will all amount to nothing at the end of the day! This is why you need to be proactive with your life. It takes being action-oriented in life to make a significant impact on your world. So my dear brothers and sisters, it’s time to be proactive and stop being reactive. If things will happen for you, you have to be on the move. This is exactly what Jesus Christ our Lord and savior did in Matthew 21verse1-7, with regards to fulfilling a prophecy concerning his life. He didn’t fold his hands but actually engineered or played a role in fulfilling that prophecy. That is the same thing that you too need to do if things will get better and if you will ever actualize your colorful destiny. So are you willing to take the bull by the horn? Are you ready to make that move? I want you to know that nothing moves unless you move!
Therefore, I encourage you to take the initiative concerning the following:
1. Your Tomorrow or Future
2. Your Destiny
3. Your Joy and Happiness
4. Your Vision and Dreams
5. Your Career and Business
6. Your Goals and Aspirations
7. Your Ministry and Calling
Nobody is going to do these things for you, so it’s time to get serious with the business of living. Are you going to rise up from your slumber? Are you willing to do the needful? Only you can answer these questions, I pray that today will mark a turning point in your life in Jesus name amen. By the way, what do we mean by initiative? It’s the:
-The power or opportunity to act or take charge before others do.
-Ability to access and do initiative things independently
I believe that you can now see what initiative is all about. I pray for you today that you will start taking seriously the business of taking initiative. Join me in our next lesson as I share with you how to take Initiative.

Prayer for Today: Lord, help me to take more seriously the power of taking initiatives in Jesus name amen.
CONFESSION: I choose to be a proactive person and not a passive kind of person. I am a doer and not just a talker. I act on my convictions and persuasions. I back up my words with actions. Therefore, I am lifted to new Levels by the power of taking initiative in Jesus name amen.
