Keeping The Anointing Fresh 2

Psalm 92verse10 ‘But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.’

You are welcome back to our discussion on keeping the anointing fresh in our lives. The anointing needs to be kept in a particular manner if it will fulfill all that God intended for it to accomplish. This is why this teaching is coming your way today. I pray that beginning from today, the anointing will be fresh and new in your life. From our last lesson, I shared with you some of the reasons why you need to keep the anointing fresh. Today by his grace, I will be sharing with you more Insights as per why the anointing should be kept fresh. If you are ready, here we go!

3. Because the anointing is in constant use. Whether you are conscious of this or not, the anointing is in constant use. And because of this reason, you need to stay regularly filled with his power or spirit. One of the symbols that the scriptures use to describe the anointing is oil and you know that oil can leak, dry up, thin out or even get contaminated. So my dear brothers and sisters, because of these issues with oil, you need to ensure that the oil in your life is regularly renewed and replenished. May Jehovah grant you further understanding in Jesus name, amen. Eccl10v1

4. Because this is the example we can see from the scriptures. When you take a good look at the scriptures you will see that God’s people were anointed again and again. For example, King David was anointed at least three times in the scriptures (1Sam16v13: 2Sam2v4; 5v3). He was not the only one to experience this. In fact, Solomon, his son, was anointed twice (1Ki1v39:1Chro29v22). This precedence that we see in the Bible is an indication of how God wants you to live as his child. He wants his oil to be fresh in your life because this is how the anointing can be effective and relevant in your life. So what else are you waiting for? It’s time for you to begin to seek on a regular basis the infilling of his spirit or power in your life and work. God never wants you to be without his power! I also decree that you will never be without his power anymore in your life! It’s a new day for you in Jesus name, amen.
