Ephesians 4verse29 ‘Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.’
Our words are supposed to work for us and not against us! The major challenge most people have in this area is putting their mouths to the wrong use. I mean, because of speaking negatively some times, it could be a difficult challenge to speak positively. But if the truth be told, until you gain control of your tongue, you have not gained control of your life. Pro21v23. This is why it’s so important for you to gain control of your mouth if you want your words to work for you in a positive way. It’s actually possible for you to gain control of your mouth; you just have to be willing to discipline yourself in order to achieve it. So, how committed are you to this process? Ps141v3.
In our last lesson, I shared with you some of the conditions you need to meet if your words will work for you and today, by His grace, I want us to look at some other conditions to see if your words will work for you. So, if you are ready, off we go!
4. Speak to the problem and not about the problem. This is an important way of speaking if your words will work for you. Start speaking to your problems or challenges and stop complaining about them. Another way to say this is to stop exalting your problems and start telling your problems about your God. My dear friends, if you get hold of this truth, it will put you in a position of power and victory! So what are you waiting for? It’s time for you to embrace a new way of speaking so that your words can begin to work wonders in your life. Mk11v23.As you embrace this principle, may it change your life forever.
5. Speak about your desires and expectations. Stop speaking about your circumstances; instead, speak about what you want to come to pass. Speak victory and not defeat! Speak your expectations and not what you are going through. Speak what you want and not what you don’t want! This is an important truth that you need to learn if your words will work for you in life. Rom4v17.
I pray that as you embrace this principle, it will take you to another level in your life and pursuit of destiny.
I strongly believe that this series of teachings have blessed you, I look forward to hearing your testimonies and miraculous encounters, so kindly share your thoughts in the comments section. Thanks!
