Eph.1v17-19: That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the father of glory, may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power.

As a believer, there are certain truths about the power of God that you need to know with absolute conviction and assurance if God’s power will really work in your life. The problem we have is not a lack of power but a lack of understanding of what we have (Jn.8v32). This is why I am praying for you today that through this teaching today, your eyes will be opened to the treasures of his power that is yours now in Christ, according to Eph.1v19. May you see and seize this opportunity in Jesus name. May God’s power begins to work mightily in and through you never like before. So how can God’s power work for you? What understanding do you need to have about God’s power?

FUNDAMENTAL TRUTHS:

1. The power of God belongs to you. What does this mean? God’s power is yours now! It’s your heritage and inheritance in Christ. It’s not something you are praying to have but something that has already been bestowed on you. If you can see this truth, it will change your life forever (Acts 1v8). Precious child of God, it’s time for you to begin to operate from this dimension of someone who has God’s power at your disposal any day and anytime and not as someone powerless. My dear reader, I encourage you to receive this truth as it will change your life forever.
2. You have access to the power that Jesus operated in when he was here on earth. Wow! This is mind-blowing and life-changing also. As you can see from scriptures, this is the truth and nothing but the truth (i.e. Rom.8v11; 1Jn.4v4). So stop seeing the power that you have as inferior or nothing. Start believing in that power. The same way it worked for our Master and Savior Jesus Christ, it will begin to work for you too, and you will not be put to shame. Receive this truth and begin to walk in it from today.
3. You have more than enough power at your disposal. God’s power that is available to you is more than enough. More than enough to last you through your lifetime here on earth and even in eternity. In fact, you have so much power at your disposal (Eph.1v19). So it’s time to make good use of it for his glory. As you tap into this power, your life changes forever in Jesus name, amen.
4. You are never without his power. His power is in you and for you. His power is upon you and with you. You are surrounded and clothed by his power. This is the truth of the matter and it’s something God wants you to embrace and fully walk in it (Col.1v27). My dear reader, if you will believe these truths with the whole of your heart, it will change your life for the better and God’s power will begin to work more readily and mightily through you. This is what God actually designed his power to do in your life and I see you stepping into a new operation of God’s power from today.

I am never without his power for I am clothed with his power. His power works mightily in and through me. As I surrender and yield to his power in me, his name and glory are being magnified in my life. Glory be to God, for his power is changing my life for the better.
