Ephesians 5 verse 1-2 ‘V1-Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; V2-And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.’
Walking in love is one of our mantras as a believer and infact it’s also one of God’s commands to you as his child. So to what extent are you walking in love? A times we struggle with our love walk because we do not fully understand the power and importance of walking in love. This is why God is bringing these truths your way today. I pray that these Truths will revolutionize your love walk in Jesus name. So how can someone walk in love? What does it take to live and operate in love? To walk in love you need to give attention to the following truths:
1. By following the example of Jesus. What does this mean? It means loving the way Jesus loves. This is not an impossible task if you are a Believer in Jesus. (Rom5v5:8v9) Because God’s love has been shed abroad in your heart by the Holy Spirit. So it’s possible to love like Jesus loves. In fact, this is the same thing our text scripture (Ephesians 5 verse 1-2) also says. Jesus is our perfect example of love and loving. And as you follow him you will never go astray in Jesus name amen. Jn15v12. So how did Jesus love? Check out the following check list:
-He was selfless in love.
-He was sacrificial in love.
-He was sincere in love.Rom12v9
-He was intense in love.
-He was unconditional in love.
-He was deliberate in love
-He was faithful in love.
These are just some of the ways he expressed his love to us. I know that you are not Jesus but you have his spirit and nature. So you at least love like he did. Just start from where you are. Start with what you have! Just start! That is the most important thing. Start representing Jesus anywhere you are today. Let our world be a better place because of you and your love. Don’t withhold your love. Be generous with your love. Be a true example and reflection of his love. May you never disappoint God .May our world be a much better place because of you manifesting the love of God! 1Pet2v21
