Ps.40v1-3: I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined to me, and heard my cry. He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps. He has put a new song in my mouth, praise to our God; many will see it and fear, and will trust in the Lord.
You are welcome back to our discussion on securing answers to the things you might be trusting God for. I know at times it is not easy to wait for the manifestation of what you are seeking, but we serve a God who keeps a covenant. He is a covenant-keeping God, and as he has done in time past, he’s much more able to do today. So do not be discouraged, neither be dismayed because your expectations will not be cut off. Take a look at the story of David in our text scripture in (Ps.40v1-3). He has said it all. It is very apparent that he simply gave us a summary of God’s faithfulness to him. He said in my waiting, I waited patiently for the Lord and you could see that he’s waiting was not in vain. God made him the envy of all nations because what God ultimately did for him was apparent and evident to all. The same will also be your testimony and lot if only you can wait for the manifestation of the answers that you seek. So how can someone obtain answers to that which they have been waiting or trusting God for? I will be sharing with you some very instructive principles that will help you in this regard. So without much ado, let us go straight ahead into these principles.
HOW TO OBTAIN ANSWERS?
1. Keep your eyes on his word and promises to you (Ps.37v7). Precious child of God, as long as you keep your eyes on him you will not be distracted or disappointed. Looking unto his word is what will give you stability, stamina and strength for the journey. You certainly need these elements in your life if you’re going to reap the harvest of answers that you are looking for. So never take away your eyes from his word. Keep looking unto God, for that is where your strength and confidence comes from. I guarantee you that as you earnestly behold his word, you are beholding his face and you will be strengthened to enter into your land of promise. So keep your eyes ever on his word, this is when the answers you seek will come your way and I pray for you today that this will be your testimony in Jesus name (Lk.9v62).
2. Watch with thanksgiving as you wait. I know it’s not easy to praise God while you are waiting for the answers you seek, but this is a sure part way to obtain answers to what you are looking for. So be thankful for the answer that is on the way. I want you to know that it even takes faith to thank God before you see the physical manifestation of your heart desires. So child of God, be encouraged today by tapping into the power of thanksgiving. Make up your mind that you will thank God aggressively. In fact, thank him continually and thank him also excessively, this is how you will be ushered into the land of your manifestations and I want you to know that Thanksgiving is the voice of Miracles and as you activate this tremendous power, you will be lifted into new realms in the name of Jesus (Rom.4v20).
3. Obey the directives and instructions of the Holy Spirit (Rom.8v14). As you wait on the Lord for the manifestation of your heart desire, you also need to watch out for his directives to you. I have observed from experience that God usually wants to communicate with his children as much as he knows how and when he will bring you into that which you are expecting. So you need to be attentive to his voice. The Holy Spirit will be there to tell you what to do and even where to go. Believe me, precious child of God, these instructions and directives are so vitally important to get you into your land of manifestation. So make up your mind that you will be sensitive to his voice and his instructions as you pay attention to what he has to say to you. He will lead you into your pot of blessings and bring you into your land of inheritance. This is going to be your testimony because he is too faithful to fail. He will open your eyes to see the opportunities and personnel at your disposal that will ultimately usher you into your land of promise. So be expectant and be on the lookout. One thing is sure, and one thing I can guarantee as you do this is that you will not be put to shame. So welcome to the land of manifestation or answers to your request. Your expectations will not be cut off (Gen.18v10-14).

Prayer for Today: Precious Holy Spirit, I need your help and Grace in order to be able to wait patiently for the answers that I seek. I receive this help today in Jesus name.
CONFESSION: Heavenly Father, I thank you because you are too faithful to fail me. You are not a man that should lie neither the son of man that he should repent. You make good your promises and as I wait and trust you for the manifestation of your promises to me, I will not be put to shame. My waiting will not be in Vain. I will reap the fruits of my waiting. My faith will not fail; instead, my faith will usher me into the land of my expectations. I declare today that my expectations will not be cut off because I know that God is working for me and even behind the scenes and I will testify of the faithfulness of Jehovah. This will be my testimony in Jesus name.
