Ecclesiastes 3verse1 ‘To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven’

My dear brothers and sisters, as you can see from our text scripture (Ecclesiastes 3verse1), there is a time for everything in life. In the same vein, there is a time for setting your goals and there is a time for reviewing them. And reviewing your goals is never a waste of your time and resources. Instead it will boost your chances of success. In our last lesson I shared some insights with you as per how to review your goals. Today by his grace, I want us to examine more nuggets along this line. So how do I go about reviewing my goals?

3. By Asking yourself some pertinent questions. My dear reader, this is another important principle that can help you to review your goals. Don’t be afraid of asking questions because they help you clarify your thinking and gain wisdom and insight. Questions are also important because they help you to understand the true nature of things. Jam4v2. However it’s important for you to know also that the kind of questions you ask will determine the kind of answers you will get. So what kind of questions are you supposed to ask yourself if you will successfully review your goals? I have a checklist of questions that I want you to consider. So off we go:
a. How are you doing with regards to your goals? Are you on track, behind a little or have you totally forgotten it?
b. Are these goals still important or relevant to your life right now?
c. What is working to help you achieve these goals?
d. What isn’t working?
e. Are there any changes I need to make to these goals to make it fit my life better?
f. What changes or steps can I take to make it easier to reach my goals?
g. Do I need to make any adjustments to my goals?
h. If yes, what are those adjustments?
I. Have I accomplished any of my goals?
j. Am I making any progress in the actualization of my goals?
k. What challenges or struggles am I experiencing with regard to my goals and how am I tackling it?
l. Do I need any form of help or assistance in accomplishing my goal?
m. What steps and actions am I taking to accomplish my goals?
n. Have my results met my expectations so far?
o. If not, why not?

My dear brothers and sisters, these are just some of the kinds of questions that you need to ask yourself if your goals will see the light of day. So are you willing to take the bull by the horn?
