James 4verse3 ‘Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.’

I believe that nobody wants to be involved in a venture that will yield no profit or results. I believe that the same is true also of our prayer life. Noboby wants to pray without results. In fact it’s frustrating praying without results; this is why God is sending you this series of teachings on how to pray with results. I strongly believe this will help you to pray better and get the desired results in your prayer life. I have shared with you so far some powerful insights on how to pray with results; my focus in today’s lesson will be on more principles that will help you to get results in your prayer life. So without much ado, let’s examine these principles right away.

11. Praying alone or praying by yourself. This is one of the ways that the scriptures command us to pray; this is one of the vital things that will help you develop your prayer life. So if I were you, I would take this principle seriously. Mk1v35:Lk6v12

12. Praying with Others. Those who enjoy praying alone also take delight in praying with others. This is also one of the ways that the Bible expects us to pray. Praying with others has a lot of numerous advantages that time won’t allow me to mention. But my dear reader, this is one of the dimensions of prayer that you need to explore if you want to get results in your prayer life. Acts4v23-24. So it’s time to get on board!

13. Praying with the right motives. The scriptures command us to pray with the right motives if we want our prayers to be answered. So one important question to ask yourself before praying is, what is my motivation for this request or demand? If it’s right then you are guaranteed answers; if it’s wrong, you would be denied your expectations. Matt6v5-6. So my dear reader, always put into consideration the reasons for whatever you are asking God to do if you want to receive answers from the Lord.

14. Pray with Fasting. This is another means of making your prayers effective. Fasting amplifies the power of your prayers. So blessed is the man who knows how to pray with fasting, for their voice shall be heard on high. Matt17v21. Dear precious child of God, it’s time for you also to add this dimension of prayer to your prayer life. I am sure that your prayer life won’t be the same again; in Jesus name, amen.

15. Pray Intensively and Extensively. To grow in your prayer life, you would also require you to pray in this manner. This kind of prayer involves dedicating some block time to pray and seek God wholeheartedly. This kind of prayer is also necessary if you will be effective in your prayer life. Our Lord Jesus prayed like this and even some saints of Old also experienced this dimension of prayer. So, my dear reader, it’s time to dedicate yourself to the ministry of prayer if you are to get results. Acts6v4
