How to Pray With Results 2

James 4verse3 ‘Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.’

You are welcome back to our discussion on how to pray with results. If you can recall from our last Lesson, I said if you will get results from your praying, then you need to pray according to the scriptures. Yes, praying in this manner is what guarantees results in your prayers. My focus in today’s lesson will be to share with you more insights as per how to pray according to the scriptures. 6. Pray with Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving should be a regular part of your prayers if you want to get answers to your prayers. The more thankful you are, the more graceful you become. This was one of the secrets of the great apostle Paul. He was an avid thanks giver. No wonder he commanded such results in his prayer life. Eph1v16: Col1v3;4v2. You, too can enjoy such grace if you start giving attention to thanksgiving.

7. Pray with specificity and in detail. Pray with clarity and a sense of direction. God is committed to giving you the desires of your heart, so it’s important to pray with clarity; otherwise, how would you know when your prayers get answered? Mk11v24; Mk10v52, so be clear and specific with your requests.

8. Pray in the spirit. This is also known as praying in tongues or in the Holy Spirit. This is one of the best ways to pray. It’s one of the ways by which you can pray unto God directly without any hindrance or interference. Praying like this will empower you to get results in the place of prayer. Jud1v20: 1Cor14v2. So now is the time for you to tap into this dimension of prayer.

9. Pray with the help of the Holy Spirit. This is another dimension of prayer you need to experience to be effective in your prayer life. This form of prayer relies on the Holy Spirit’s help to pray. You know as a human being, you are limited by the feebleness of mind or body but thank God the Holy Spirit is there to help you in your weakness in the place of prayer. So it’s time to start engaging the Holy Spirit in your prayer life. As you do this, you will notice greater effectiveness in the place of prayer. Rom8v26-27

10. Pray at appointed times. This kind of prayer is when God puts a burden on your heart to pray or stirs you up to pray. At times it’s often unplanned but for those who are sensitive in the spirit, it’s a dimension of prayer that will enrich your life. Eph6v18
My dear brothers and sisters, now is the time to rise up to the challenge. Now is the time to take your place in the realm of the spirit. Now is the time to enter a greater dimension of effectiveness in your prayer life. If you are receiving this, do say a Big AMEN.
