Psalm 34:1-2: I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make its boast in the Lord; The humble shall hear of it and be glad
You are welcome back to our discourse on how to praise the Lord. The subject of praising God is so important in the life of a believer; this is why you need to know how to praise Him. When we praise Him in the way he ought to be praised, one thing is sure, things won’t remain the same. I pray that this will be your testimony today (Jeremiah 29:13).
It is clear from (Psalm 34:1-2) that God wants us to praise Him in a particular manner and once again today, we will be considering some other ways He wants to be praised:
- With your mouth. This is how He wants you to praise Him and you can do this by singing praises unto Him or shouting with the voice of triumph. Are you ready to offer the fruit of your lips unto Him? (Psalm 104:33: 33:3: 47:11).
- With your dance. You can praise the Lord will your dance. It’s scriptural to dance unto the Lord, for He alone is worthy of your praise! When was the last time you danced before your Maker? (2 Samuel 6:14).
- Sacrificially. Your praise ought to be a sacrifice i.e. it should cost you something that is why it is a sacrifice. You are supposed to offer unto your King a sacrifice of praise. Is your praise costing you anything? (Psalm 107:22: 116:17).
- With your substance. Jehovah wants us to praise Him with our wealth, riches and material things. This is also part of our worship to our King. Giving is part of your praise and it’s an expression of gratitude and love (Proverbs 3:9; 1 Kings 8:63).
- With musical instruments. This is why we glorify His name with all forms of musical instrument. Praising God like this is another way of honoring our King. In fact, there is a way musical instrument(s) amplifies our praise and you need to experience this dimension regularly. Praising God like this brings down His mighty presence and in His presence, things change for the better (Psalm 92:1-3; 2 Chronicles 5:12-14).
Precious child of God, I believe you are ready for a new experience in your praise life. May today usher you into a new dimension of His praise and may you never be the same again.

Prayer for Today: Holy Spirit, help me to praise the Lord like He wants to be praised. Help me to offer qualitative and quantitative praise. Visit me today and take my praise life to another dimension in Jesus name, amen.
CONFESSION: I am stepping into a new dimension of praise. My praise life is getting better and better for I am experiencing a shift and lifting in my praises. My praise is not monotonous or mechanical. I praise my God with my mouth, dance and with my substance. I also take delight in praising my King sacrificially and with musical instruments. I am a living wonder to my generation because the power of praise is at work in my life and endeavours. Glory be to his holy name! Hallelujah.
