Genesis 1verse26, 28 Genesis 1verse26, 28: ‘V26- And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. V28- And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.’
You are welcome to our discussion on how to live a productive life. This is God’s will and plan for you as his child. Therefore, you should say no to every form of barrenness. In our last lesson, I shared with you how to live a productive life. Today by his grace, I will continue from where I stopped last time. So without much ado, here we go!
2. Take your work seriously. You can’t be productive if you are lazy. It takes diligence to be productive. Eccl10v18. So my dear friends, how have you been taking your work? Are you taking it with levity, lightly, or with excuses? Neh6v3. You need to have the right kind of mindset for your work if you will be productive. So how do you know someone who takes his work seriously? You know them by the following:
–They do their work on time. In other words, they do their work when they ought to. No procrastination. No delays! No excuses! Gen39v11. This is how to work too if you will be productive.
-They take responsibility for their work. They don’t blame others or pass the buck. They take the initiative! My dear reader, this is the kind of person you need to be to be productive in life. Rom2v1.
-They are committed to finishing their work. They are finishers. They don’t abandon or quit their work. They are committed to their work. Jn4v34:17v4.
My dear brothers and sisters, this is how to work if you want to be productive at what you do. So it’s time to take ownership of your work! It’s time to be married to your assignment! As you do, you will notice a new dimension of productivity coming into your life.
