How to Have an Amazing Year 4

2Chro.27v6: So Jotham became mighty, because he prepared his ways before the Lord his God.

I believe you are enjoying this series of teachings on how to have an Amazing Year. It’s possible to have a Wonderful Year! This year can be and should be far better than last year if you will be willing to take on certain tasks and meet certain conditions. The good thing about these principles is that it’s something you can do because God will not ask you to do what you can’t do.

So far in this series, I have shared 3 of such principles with you. My focus in today’s lesson will be on another important principle that will empower you to succeed in the New Year. So let’s examine this principle right away!

CONDITIONS FOR HAVING AN AMAZING YEAR:

4. Run with the Prophetic Word. The prophetic word is God’s personal or corporate word to you. It’s a Now Word. It’s the Word for the season and situation you are in now. God is in the habit of sending his word to his People (Heb.1v1-2). In fact, God won’t do anything without his Word (Amos 3v7). He is also committed to fulfilling his Word as he is a covenant-keeping God (Deut.7v9).

As a Commission this year, God’s word to us is that this Year is our Year of the Seeker’s Generation. He has promised that as we seek him, we will find him and our lives won’t be the same again (Ps.24v6). So what is his Prophetic Word to you? Once you know his Word to you and you regulate your life with it, you cannot but have an Amazing Year. So how do you run with his Prophetic Word to you? You do so by:

-Believing that Word. Your believing is important because it opens the door of possibilities (Lk.1v45).

-Receive it. To receive means to take personal ownership of something. It means to claim something or to personalize it.

-Confessing it. Declare and affirm the promise by your mouth because confession brings possession (Rom.4v17).

-Acting on the promise. It means to obey the word (Jam.1v22).

So my dear brothers and sisters, don’t joke with his Prophetic Word to you this Year. Run with it. Let it regulate your life and Operations because your progress, peace and prosperity depend on it.
So it’s time to secure the new Year by regulating your life with his Prophetic Word. One word from God can change a man’s life and condition. God’s prophetic word will also change your life this year in Jesus name, amen.

Prayer for Today: Lord, help me to regulate my life according to your prophetic word to me in Jesus name, amen.

CONFESSION: This Year, I will run with his Prophetic Word to me. I will not be distracted from his Word. I will keep my eyes and focus on his Promise to me by his grace. I will walk with his Prophetic Word. Therefore, I know that I will not walk alone or in the dark because his Promise will be my guide and director. By his Help, I will arrive at my expected destination this year in Jesus name, amen
