Psalm 118verse24 ‘This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.’
God has given every man the gift of twenty-four hours but what we get out of it is not the same. Some get more out of their days than others. Why is this so? We all live under the same skies but don’t have the same horizon. So how can someone make the best out of a day? How can you have a fulfilling day? This is what this series of lessons is all about and I also believe that you will be empowered to make the most of your day. So what are the secrets behind a fulfilling Day?
1. Starting your day with God. This is a major key to having a satisfying day. So who is first in your life? Matt6v33. The secret to a productive life is starting your day with God. A day is poorly spent if it’s not started with God. So my dear friends, start your day with God by:
-Communing with him in the place of prayer. Ps105v4
-Communing him via his word. Draw inspiration from his word. Jn5v39: Isa34v16
My dearly beloved, there is no substitute for the presence of God. Ps84v10
Those who stand before God will stand before men! Those who kneel before God will stand before men! And those who prevail with God will also prevail with Men! So my admonition to you today is: always start your day with God.
2. Be action-oriented. Don’t be passive but be active in life. I have discovered the following kinds of people in life:
-Watchers or Spectators (People who watch what is happening).
-Wonderers (People who wonder about what is happening).
-Wanderers (People who don’t know where they are going)
-Makers (People who make things happen) 1Sam30v6.
My dearly beloved ones, you need to belong to those who make things happen. They are those who take charge of their lives and day! They do what they need to do and are not at the mercy of others. Are you ready for this kind of life? Are you ready to take action? If you are, then you:
-Will put action before your feelings. Just do what you need to do and stop being emotional.
-Follow through with your decisions. It’s not just enough to have plans; you need to work on your plans. Pro24v27.
These are just some ways you can begin to take meaningful actions every day! So let nobody or nothing stop you! Go after your goals and dreams! I see you getting there in Jesus name, amen.
