I welcome you back to our discussion on the subject of spiritual growth. I believe that you were blessed and greatly encouraged by the truths I have shared so far with you.
I have been sharing some basic truths about spiritual growth that you need to understand and in today’s lesson, I intend to continue further. So without much ado can we examine them right away!
BASIC TRUTHS ABOUT SPIRITUAL GROWTH:
3. Spiritual Growth is not an automatic thing. Neither does it happen by chance or accident. It does not even respond to luck or coincidence but it’s as a result of meeting the conditions for growing spiritually. And the good news is that these conditions are not grievous. It is not something that you cannot attain or accomplish. 1Pet2v2.
So how prepared are you for your spiritual growth? Growing spiritually is an intentional and deliberate act. It is something that you must plan and work towards. So when are you going to start working towards your spiritual growth?
4. Spiritual Growth won’t come easy. Satan is going to fight you on this. He will also make the situation and circumstances work against you. At times people can also be an obstacle in your pathway to growing spiritually.
This is why you must fight the good fight of faith. 1Tim6v12. Are you ready to fight for your spiritual growth? You must be ready to fight your emotions, flesh, people, circumstances, and Satan. If you will be successful in growing spiritually.
I believe that that is why some people don’t grow up spiritually because they are not ready to fight for what is theirs. You won’t grow when and where there is comfort. This is why you must be willing to push yourself outside your comfort zone. 2Cor10v3-5.
As you do this, I believe that God will take you further than you imagine in Jesus name amen. If you are receiving this, can you say a resounding amen?

CONFESSION: I take hold of my spiritual growth by force. I refuse to be complacent about it rather I contend against everything that is standing in my path of progress spiritually. As I contend, I am victorious in Jesus name amen. Glory be to God for nothing shall henceforth be able to stop me.
