Acts16verse25-26 ‘V25-And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. V26–And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed.’

You are welcome back to our discussion on how to be praiseful in the midst of the storms of life.  As I have established from our last lesson it’s possible for you to be joyful in the midst of the crisis of life. If Apostle Paul and Silas could do so, then you too can do so because God is no respecter of persons but a respecter of faith. I believe that God will honour your faith as you stand on his Word because he is too faithful to fail. Rom10v12.

So, how can someone be praiseful in the midst of the challenges of life? How did Paul and Silas do it? I would like us to consider some of the things that helped them to praise God even in the midst of the storm. So, if you are ready, here we go!

HOW TO BE JOYFUL IN THE MIDST OF THE STORMS:

1. Be grateful on purpose! This simply means to be deliberate or intentional with your praise. Praise God on purpose or deliberately. Don’t wait for the conditions or circumstances to be right before you praise God, just praise God anyhow. This kind of praise also means to not to wait for your feelings to be right before you praise God but to praise God inspite of your feelings. My dear brothers and sisters, this is the kind of praise that provokes major breakthroughs and supernatural turnaround in life. This kind of praise will cause God’s hand to move mightily in your behalf. So my dear reader are you ready to prove his Word? Ps146v1-2.

I am very sure you are ready to go. So therefore my admonition to you today is to:

-Praise God whether you feel like it or not. 2Cor5v7

-Praise God whether it makes sense or not.

-Make the move to start praising God today. So waiting for the atmosphere to be right, just praise God that is the most important thing.

My dearly beloved friends, as you praise God in your pains and struggles, my God will give you a new song and testimony in Jesus name amen. If you believe this, can I hear a resounding amen?
