Job 22 verse 2 Can a man be profitable unto God, as he that is wise may be profitable unto himself?

Dearly Beloved, I hope that these series of lessons on How to a Profitable Worker is a great blessing to you. Your service should be of utmost Importance to you, that is why you need to know how to be profitable in your work for God. One major truth we have learnt from these series is that God wants to be served in a particular way and it’s when we serve him in that manner, our service will be fruitful. I have shared three powerful ways by which you can do God’s work in his own way. Today by his Grace, I intend to shed more light on how God wants to be served. I believe you are ready for this.

HOW GOD WANTS TO BE SERVED

4. By Serving Him First.

God wants to be served first and not second or last. He wants to occupy the most important space in your life. This is why he wants to come first and not last. When it comes to serving God, every other thing should wait. This is how you ought to serve the Lord if you really want to be a profitable worker. So who comes first in your agenda or priority? Is it God or something else? It’s time to give God the rightful place in your life so that His glory will be made manifest in its fullness in what you do. So my dear brothers and sisters, serve God first as a matter of policy if you want to be a profitable worker. Matt6v33

5. Serve God where you are now.

Most of the time, we often wait for the perfect place or time to serve, but this is a wrong approach to service. Instead, you should serve God right where you are now. It is important to note that as you serve God right where you are, things will begin to change for the better. So make sure you get your perspective right from today. Stop waiting for perfect conditions before you serve. Serve him despite your current situation. This is what the likes of Daniel, David, Joseph and even Paul understood. They served God regardless of the circumstances they found themselves. This is the way you ought to serve God, too, because it’s the way that makes you fruitful and productive. It’s time to hit the ground running. Start serving God right where you are now and see the kind of transformation that will take place in your life. Eccle9v11

CONFESSION: Thank you, Lord, for opening my eyes to how to serve you. I receive courage and wisdom in order to be a doer of the word. This word will prosper in my life! I shall be Fruitful in my service for the Lord. I shall not labor in vain nor bring forth unto trouble. As I walk with the Holy Spirit, I am becoming a profitable worker in Jesus name amen
