John 15verse1-2, 8 ‘V1-I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. V2-Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. V8-Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
Fruitfulness is your heritage as a believer and nothing short of this will make God happy. This is why you need to make this resolution in your heart today so that you will not settle for anything lesser than this. As you do this, may fruitfulness be the order of the day for you. As you can see from our last lesson, certain principles make fruitfulness to be a reality in our lives. You don’t just become fruitful just like that. To be fruitful means that you need to imbibe some qualities in your life and today, by his grace, I will be sharing with you another important key to becoming a Fruitful Believer. If you are ready for this, let’s examine this principle right away.
2. By Winning Souls. If you want to be fruitful, you need to be a soul winner. The business of winning others to Christ is a serious business. It’s something that you can’t take lightly because a fruitful believer is a soul-winning believer. Pro11v30: Dan12v3
Dear Friends, the business of winning souls is the mandate of every believer. It’s our collective responsibility and it’s something that God wants you to take more seriously. 2Pet3v9.
So what are the ways by which you can imbibe this culture of winning souls? You can do this by:
-Praying for those who are not saved around you. This should include your friends, family, colleagues, classmates, etc. Praying for the lost will help you to develop a burden for the lost. 1Tim2v8
-Commit yourself to speaking to someone about Christ regularly. This is an important part of winning souls because whatever you are not committed to won’t work. So start somewhere today! As you take this challenge, you will begin to notice a change in your life as per Winning Souls. Jn1v40-45
-Seize every opportunity that comes your way to win souls. There will always be opportunities to be his witness; the problem is whether you will be sensitive and courageous enough to do so. I strongly believe that the narrative is going to change as part of our attitude to soul-winning. May the fresh outpouring of the spirit come upon you today to be a fruitful soul winner.

Prayer for Today: Holy Spirit, help me to stay committed to the business of winning souls in Jesus’ name, amen.
CONFESSION: Heavenly Father, revive my appetite for soul winning. Create a new thirst and hunger in me for the souls of men. Help me make good use of the opportunities around me to be an effective witness for you. This is my prayer and desire in Jesus’ name, amen.
