How Are You Living 2?

Proverbs 12v15 ‘The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.’

What kind of life are you living? This is a very important question to ask yourself and it’s a question that you need to ask yourself from time to time. How you live matters to God! How you live will also affect you and others connected to you. This is why God is sending this message your way today. I strongly pray that it will help you in becoming what God ordained for you to be in Jesus name amen. In our last lesson, I shared with us some interesting thoughts that I have discovered about how people live and in today’s lesson, I will continue from where I stopped. So generally speaking:

3. People live in the past. This is not a good way of living because they are living on yesterday’s glory or victory or even the disappointment or frustrations of the past. God wants to do you better than you started so why settle for less Isa43v18-19.

4. People live a life of Fate. This is also not a good way of living. God obviously does not want you to accept conditions the way they are because he has made you a change agent. Matt5v16

5. People live without any sense of responsibility. This is not the way God wants you to live. He does not want you to play the victim’s game or blame others for your situation. God wants you to take charge and be in control of things. Rom2v1. So now is the time to arise and start taking responsibility because responsibility is the price of greatness.

6. People who live for the Future. They are not just living for now or today but they have tomorrow in mind. This is the way you ought to live also because living on this level will put you at a strong advantage. Philip3v14.

7. People who live their lives by chance. This is not a good way to live because people who live like this will be at the mercy of things and people. So my dear reader, start living by purpose and design. God made you for something! You were made to fulfil a purpose! Discover it and commit your life to it. Jer1v5-6.

When you live your life on this basis, you will be fulfilled and satisfied! So my dear reader, on which level are you living?

Prayer for Today: Heavenly Father, help me to live a life that is pleasing to you all the days of my life!
