Hindrances To Your Blessing 2

Ps.5v12: For you, O Lord, will bless the righteous; with favour you will surround him as with a shield.

There is no doubt about the fact that God takes pleasure in blessing the righteous. In fact, the blessings of the Lord are the heritage of the just. The blessings ought to be a living reality in your life. So when the blessings are not manifesting like it ought to be, then there is something wrong somewhere. This is why I have been sharing with you some of the reasons why the blessings are not showing forth in the life of some believers. There is no smoke without fire and so far I have shared 2 major obstacles to experiencing the blessings. Today by his Grace, I will be sharing 3 more reasons why the blessings might not be manifesting in the life of the believer. So without much ado, let’s examine these reasons right away.

OBSTACLES TO THE BLESSINGS:

3. You don’t expect so much from the Lord. Expectation is the mother of Manifestation. If you are not expecting to be blessed, then you won’t be blessed. Your Expectations is also a manifestation of your faith. Faith is always expecting that there will be the performance of what God has said. So it’s important to be Expectant. And what you expect is what you will get. So you need to careful what you are expecting. Stop expecting the worse. Start Expecting the Best. Stop expecting your fears Start expecting by Faith. Expect Great Things. Believe Great Things to happen and you will experience Great Things. Stop believing in the lies, curses or rumors. Believe that the Blessing will speak in your life. Believe that something good is going to happen to you today and all the time. As you begin to live like this, you will discover that the blessing will begin to speak profoundly in your life (Pro.23v18).

4. You don’t take God at his Word. This is also another limiter of the blessings. Failure to believe what God says about you can be a major hindrance to enjoying the blessings. My dear reader, if you don’t believe that God means what he says and also does what he says how shall you then experience the blessings. God is not a liar. He means every inch and syllable of his Promise. So you need to take God by what he has said (Ps.89v34-35). God cannot lie, so if you want to see the manifestation of his Blessings in your life, stop doubting his promises or word. Choose to be a believer and not a doubter. Stop believing the lies of the devil. If God says you are blessed, then you cannot be cursed. So precious Child of God, start taking God by his Word. Begin to see yourself the way He sees you. Walk in this consciousness and the blessings will surely begin to speak in your life (Lk.1v18, 38; Mk.9v23).

5. You don’t have the right attitude. Your attitude matters a lot. One major reason some believers are not blessed like they ought to be blessed is because of bad or negative attitude. Your attitude determines the atmosphere and the atmosphere determines or affects the Anointing (Mk.6v5). Often what separates people in life is there attitude. So what kind of attitude do you have? The attitude of Naaman almost made him to lose his Blessings if not for his wise servant (2ki.5v10-14). The attitude of the Samaritan Leper made him whole. He got more than the other 9 lepers because he had a grateful attitude (Lk.17v15-16, 19). So my dear brothers and sisters, you need to know that your attitude is either attracting the blessings or pulling you away from the blessings. So you need to keep a diligent watch over your attitude so as not to lose his Blessings.

I pray for you today that as you begin to engage these principles in your life, the blessings will begin to speak in your life.

Prayer for Today: Lord, help me to deal with the hindrances in my life that is preventing me from experiencing the fullness of your blessings in Jesus name, amen.

CONFESSION: I believe that the blessing of the Lord will speak in my life and all that I do. I am expecting the blessings. I expect to see the manifestation of his blessings in my life. I believe that I am what God says I am and I have what God says I have. I choose to be a believer and not a doubter. As I cooperate with his Word and Spirit, his blessings is speaking powerfully in all my endeavours.
