Ephesians 4verse14-15 ‘That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; but speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ.’
The Subject of your Spiritual Growth should be of utmost concern to you because Jehovah is very much interested in your spiritual maturity. This is His will, as you can see from our text scripture and several other scriptures. It’s possible to know whether you are Maturing in Christ or not. Spiritual Maturity is discernable and so far, I have shared three attributes of someone who is growing up in Christ. Today by the special grace of God, I will be sharing three additional qualities with you, so if you are ready for this, here we go.
VITAL SIGNS OF A MATURE BELIEVER:
4. They are willing or ready to do his Will. This is how you know someone who is a mature Christian. The will of God is a pleasure or delight to a matured believer. They practically enjoy doing God’s will. Can this be said about you? Would you rather obey God than obey man or the devil? The answers you give to these questions are clear revelations where you are in your walk with God. But a mature Christian does not struggle with God’s will in their lives. My dear reader, it’s time to come up to this level of submission in Jesus name amen. Jn6v38: Eph5v21
5. The fruit of the Spirit is a reality in their lives. A truly spiritual person bears the fruit of the Spirit. You can see them manifesting the Fruits of Love, Joy, Peace, Long-suffering, Gentleness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Meekness and Self-control in their lives. Gal5v22-23. So to what extent are you bearing the Fruit of the Spirit in your life? The More these fruits manifest in your life, the more the nature of Christ is portrayed through you. So precious child of God, it’s time to submit yourself wholly to the Holy Spirit so that his Fruits can be evident in your life. Will you start doing so from today?
6. They have put away childish things. A child is known basically by the way they talk, think, and behave. For a mature Christian, they are no longer talking like a child, understanding like a child, or even thinking like a child. This is so because they can handle more things and do more things. 1Cor13v11; 14v20. So how much can you handle? If you want God to commit more things or responsibilities into your hands, then you need to Grow Up. It’s only a mature Christian that can shoulder greater responsibility, so make sure you place more priority on your spiritual maturity.
Dearly Beloved, I believe you are gaining wisdom and insight from these truths that I have been sharing with you. As you examine yourself in the light of these truths, a new and stronger you will emerge.

Prayer for Today: I receive God’s abounding grace to Grow Up unto Christ in all things in Jesus name, amen.
CONFESSION: It’s a new day for me because I am growing in my walk with the Lord. As I behold his face, I am changing from one level of glory to another. My life is becoming a reflection of those who truly seek him in spirit and in truth. Glory be to God, for I am a changing from one level of faith to another level in Jesus name, amen.
