Acts6verse4 ‘But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.’

I trust that you are enjoying this series of teachings on committing yourself to prayer. God is looking for men and women that he can depend on in the place of prayer. Are you willing to join this wonderful group of people? The truth is that we need many more people to pray and continue to pray. This is why God is sending this series of lessons your way. I pray that your quest for a better prayer life will be activated today in Jesus name, amen.
I want us to examine today an important part of this message: how can someone give themselves to prayer? You can accomplish this by:

1. Being Deliberate and Intentional about it. Make up your mind that you will commit yourself to prayer. Your decision is the starting point of any meaningful accomplishment. And in fact, the stronger your desires, the stronger the results and vice versa also. Matt5v6. So my dear reader, it’s time for you to be purposeful about praying and stop leaving it to chance.

2. Challenge yourself in the place of prayer from time to time. So when was the last time you took or went on a prayer challenge? I have discovered from experience that these kinds of exercises have a way of developing your prayer life. This is why I would strongly advise you to go on a prayer challenge. For if you don’t try, you may never know how much you can accomplish. Lk6v12

3. Rely on the help of the Holy Spirit. He wants also to help you with your prayer life but the problem is that we hardly invite him into our prayer walk. This has to change beginning from this moment if you really want to be dedicated in the place of prayer. So make up your mind to partner with the Holy Spirit, your blessed comforter, so your prayer life can go to another level. Rom8v26. As you commit to engage the Holy Spirit in your prayer life, praying will take on a new and different dimension for you. So don’t allow this golden opportunity to pass you by! Seize the moment and walk in it. I see the burden of prayer resting mightily on you in Jesus name, amen.
