2Chronicles27verse6 ‘So Jotham became mighty, because he prepared his ways before the Lord his God.’

What preparations are you putting in place for the new year? This is an important question that you need to ask yourself if you will be able to take advantage of what the new year has in store for you. This is why this series of teachings are coming your way today. I pray that you will be able to maximize the gains of these teachings in Jesus name, amen. If you will be better equipped in your preparations for the new year, there are certain truths you need to know about your preparations. Some of these truths are as follows:

1. Your preparations are what will determine your outcome in life. This is why you should take your preparations very seriously. It’s not something to joke with. Your harvest is determined by the kind of seed you sow. So, in essence, your preparation is your seed! This is why you need to take it more seriously. Gal6v7

2. Now is the best time to start your preparation for the new year. What do I mean by this? I simply mean you ought to start your preparations on time. Early preparation gives you an edge and advantage. Most people leave their preparations too late. This is why many have a fire brigade approach to things. This ought not to be so. So my sincere counsel to you is this: start your preparations for the new year on time, for a stitch in time saves nine. 1Chro22v5

3. Your preparations should be exhaustive in nature. You should leave no stone untouched in your preparations. This is why it’s advisable that your preparations for the new year should cover every area of your life. At times what you think is not relevant may turn out to be very important. So pay attention to details. Let your preparations cover the spiritual, emotional, mental, physical, financial, material, and relational areas. Another way of saying this is for you to make your preparations abundant and extensive. This is the only way you can guarantee yourself a glorious new year. I believe that you will rise up to this challenge in Jesus name, amen.

4. Preparing for the new year will take something out of you. My dear friends, nothing goes for nothing in life. There is always a price to pay for anything in life. Are you ready to pay the price for a glorious new year? Preparing for the new year will take some time, but it’s never wasted. Preparing for the new year will cost you your time, money, leisure, energy, and just a few things. Lk14v28. The more you get yourself ready for these things, the more your chances of starting the new year are on a powerful note. So it’s time to seize the moment.
