Eccle.10v19: A feast is made for laughter, and wine makes merry; but money answers everything.

I really believe this series of teachings on financial Freedom is of great blessing and help to you because the issue of financial freedom is of great importance to your well-being financially speaking. A lot of people are under one form of financial burden or pressure but God’s will is for you to live a life that is free of financial pressure. I know this may sound unreasonable but it’s possible if you begin to inculcate the principles I have been sharing with you. One thing is sure and certain, your life won’t be the same again as you work these principles in Jesus name, amen. So once again, today I will be sharing another powerful key to Achieving Financial Freedom in your life.

ACHIEVING FINANCIAL FREEDOM:

  1. Use the principle of delayed gratification. What is this principle all about? It’s denying yourself now in order to enjoy later. It’s sacrificing now in order to be satisfied later. It’s also saving now in order to enjoy tomorrow. It’s paying now so that you can play later. In other words, this principle is about disciplining yourself financially speaking. This is an important decision you need to make if you will really be financially free (Pro.17v16). So how disciplined are you with your finances?

If you really want to know where you stand as per delayed gratification, then you need to ask yourself the following questions:

– Do you spend all that you have or make?

– Do you have a savings account? Do you save money? (Pro.21v17, 20)

– Do you save money for long-term purposes?

– Are you a Big Spender or a super Saver?

Your answers to these questions will tell whether you are financially disciplined or not! My dear reader, this is an important area that you need to pay attention to if you really want to be free financially speaking. So why do you need to save? What’s the importance and value of this? I like us to look at some of the reasons why you need to be a Super Saver.

  1. It helps you to control your finances.
  2. It helps you to conserve your finances.
  3. It helps you to multiply your finances (Lk.16v11).
  4. It helps you to enjoy your money.
  5. It helps you to meet up with Exigencies and emergencies.

Practicing the principle of delayed gratification will help you in achieving your financial goals and freedom. So what are you waiting for? It’s time to get moving. It’s time to Imbibe this culture. I see your life-changing for the better in Jesus name, amen.
