Galatians 6verse9: ‘And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.’
My dear friends, weariness is an enemy that you must never allow to have its way in your life! This is why God wants you to be vigilant and alert. In fact, God’s will is for you not to be weary and it’s possible to keep this admonition. It’s possible to conquer and deal effectively with weariness. However, if you will do this very well, you must pay attention to the areas of our lives that we must not be weary. What are some of the areas of our lives that we must not allow weariness to reign or rule?
AREAS NOT TO BE WEARY:
5. In your giving life. This is one of the essential and critical part of our lives that we must be vigilant about. At times people start off well with expectations and fire in their bellies but as time progresses, they become weary. Especially if the returns do not come in early, my dear reader, God is always faithful. This is why you must not be weary in giving, for it takes patience to reap a bountiful harvest. Eccl11v6; Lk8v15. So admonition to you is to remain resolute and strong!
6. In Doing good or helping others. This is another area of our lives where your patience will be tested. No matter what your experience is along this line, it still pays to be good. So keep doing good regardless of the outcome. Trust it’s working for your good. It might not show now but it will surely come through if you faint not. So keep doing good. Acts9v36-41; Gal6v9-10. My dear reader, don’t allow anything or anyone to even stop you from doing good. At times, it looks like nothing much is happening now, but never give up, for your reward is undeniable. I can assure you that doing good is still far better than doing otherwise. So keep doing good. Keep rendering all the help you can. Surely, as Jehovah lives, your effort shall be rewarded. And you will live to testify of his grace.
I strongly believe that you are enjoying this series of teachings. Join me tomorrow as we continue our discussion on this all-important subject.
