Isaiah 54verse2-3: ‘V2-Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes; V3-For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.’

Developing Your Capacity is key and crucial if you want to travel far and fast in life. The greater your capacity, the greater your speed, and vice versa. This is why you need to be busy building or developing your capacity. As you can see from our text scripture (Isaiah 54verse2-3), once you enlarge your capacity, you become qualified for increase and expansion.Ps119v32. What exactly is capacity? Because if you will succeed in developing it, then you must know what it is.

Capacity Defined:

-The maximum amount that something can contain.

-The amount that something can produce.

-The maximum amount or number that can be contained or accommodated.

-The ability to receive, hold or absorb.

This is what capacity is all about, in a nutshell. However, as we proceed in this discussion, there are some other important truths I want you to know about capacity. What are these truths?

Truths About Capacity:

1. Everyone has capacity. We all have capacity. Matt25v15.

2. Our capacities are not the same. This simply means that our capacities are different and usually, this is one of the reasons why people are not on the same level or stage in life. Rom12v6.

3. Our capacities can increase or be developed. So, my dear friends, it does not matter where you are now with regard to your capacity; it can be better. This will only be possible if you are willing to pay the price.

But make no mistake about this truth: You need to develop your capacity. Capacity building is extremely important because:

-It will make you stronger and longer-lived.

-It will help you to unleash your ability to grow and change

-It helps you in developing your competencies and skills.

So my admonition to you today is to become very busy developing your capacity!
