Acts 3v1-7: Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple; who, seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked for alms. And fixing his eyes on him, with John, Peter said, “Look at us. ” So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them. Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.
Our Faith is meant to be active and not passive. In fact, your faith is meant to have a voice and not be quiet. When your faith is active and has a voice, it can be referred to as Courageous Faith. This is the kind of faith that God expects us to manifest because it’s the kind of faith that delivers and also sets us free. This was the faith that Peter and John demanded of the lame man at the Beautiful gate of the temple in Jerusalem in our text. They wanted him to be courageous with his Faith and not shrink back because the timid or fearful cannot experience Amazing Wonders. You need to be bold or daring in your faith if you will see his Wonders at Work. Are you ready to manifest this kind of faith and what does it take to demonstrate this kind of faith? For your faith to be Courageous, you need to:
1. Follow your Convictions. To see a display of Courageous faith in action, you must follow your heart and not your head. Most of the time, our head is contending with our hearts. But as a person of faith, you know your heart is always right and won’t lead you astray. So follow your heart and not your head (Acts 3v4).
2. Be Willing to Dare. Fortune always befriends the Bold. This is why you can’t be timid in your faith. Faith is a Talker and it speaks Victory all the time, not defeat. So be daring with your faith. Be ready to do what others are afraid of doing! Be ready to walk on Waters! As you step out by faith, the Mighty God of Jacob will surprise you (Matt.14v28-29).
3. Believe in what you carry. Do you know you carry something special and powerful (2Cor.4v7)? The moment you start having confidence in what you carry, that’s when your faith will be termed Courageous. So start believing from today. God’s power that is available to you is more than enough. As you go forth in his name, you won’t be put to shame in Jesus name, amen.
4. Act on what you Believe. If you really believe in God, you will move and take some definite steps. Courageous faith is on the move. It is active and proactive. So it’s time to start acting on what you believe so that you can experience the Wonders of Jehovah (Acts 3v7).
I see the tide changing in your faith. I see your faith working for you. If you believe this, say a big amen.

CONFESSION: I receive God’s motivation and power in walking in the name realm of Courageous Faith. My faith will no longer be silent or quiet. My faith will be active and Alive. My faith shall bring me into the land of my desires and destiny. As I activate my faith, I walk in the realm of victory on every side. This is my reality and experience in the land of the living.
