Proverbs 23verse7 ‘For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.’

How do you see yourself? From my experience over the years, I have seen that not every believer sees themselves in the right way. Most people see themselves from a position of weakness, not their strengths. Some even see themselves from a negative view instead of a positive one. This is why God is bringing this message your way today and also why you need to change the way you see yourself. My dear reader, do you know God is interested in what you see? The following scriptures attest to this fact (Jer1v11, 13: Amo7v8: Mk8v22-24). So if God is this interested in how you see yourself, then it’s important for you, too, to pay attention to your thoughts. Jos8v1.
So why is it important to pay attention to how you see or perceive yourself? This is important because of the following reasons:

1. It will determine who or what you become. You are a product of your mentality. You become what you think about most of the time. This is why you need to pay attention to the kind of thoughts going on in your mind. Are you proud of what you are becoming? If the answer is no, you need to change how you see yourself. Stop seeing yourself as a victim; start seeing yourself as a victor. Stop seeing yourself as a failure; start seeing yourself as a success. You can’t be greater than how you see yourself. So it’s time to start paying attention to what is happening inside you. Pro23v7

2. It will determine how you see others or the world around you. How you see the world or others reflects how you see yourself. This simply means that we see others through our eyes. Num13v33. So how do you see things? It’s an indication of how you see yourself! If you see things as impossible, it’s a product of your mentality! If you see things as possible, then it’s also a product of your mentality. So, in a nutshell, how you see yourself will determine how you will respond to others or things generally. This was the problem with the 10 spies out of the twelve that went to spy on the land. They saw themselves as victims because of the way they saw themselves. Num13v30.
This is why you need to start paying attention to how you think. I believe that today is ushering you into your season of victory and liberation. If you are keying into this, do say a Big AMEN.
