Genesis 32v24, 26-28, 30 ‘V24And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day. V26-And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me. V27-And he said unto him, what is thy name? And he said, Jacob. V28-And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed. V30And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.’

Dearly Beloved, God wants to bring you into a season of change of stories encounters! He wants to bring you into this new season because he ultimately wants you to have his fullness! Are you ready for this transition? Are you ready for this makeover? I believe that your answer is a definite Yes! So how do we experience this change? What helped Jacob and others who experienced a change of story encounter to do so? This is what I intend to share with you! So without much ado, let’s examine this right now!

2. A Strong Determination. What do I mean by this? I mean a willingness not to quit or give up. It’s also the ability to persevere until your change comes! it’s an attitude that doesn’t give up on God, his promises or one’s goals and dreams. This is the same kind of attitude that you need to have if you will truly experience a change of story encounter! Jacob had the same kind of attitude as he wrestled with God. He prevailed because he didn’t let go! He held unto God even when he was hurt! He held unto God even when he was wobbling on his feet. He held tightly unto Jehovah! He was determined and not willing to take no for an answer! This is the same kind of spirit you need to exhibit to experience your change of story encounter! Gen32v25. Are you ready to pursue and persevere? Are you ready to go all the way? The answers you give to these questions will determine whether you will overcome or not! So my admonition to you today is to be relentless in your pursuit of God and your dreams! Never say never! You need to remember that winners never quit and quitters never win! May you be able to prevail and persevere as Elisha did in Jesus name amen (2Ki2v1-15). May your strength never fail you and may you experience your much-desired change of story in Jesus name, amen.
