Biblical Ways of Obtaining Favour 3

Proverb16verse7: “When a man’s ways please the Lord. He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.”

I trust that you are enjoying this series of lessons on the subject of favour. The favour of God is the believer’s heritage, and it’s important that you know how to activate it in your life. I have been sharing with you some of the Bible ways of obtaining the favour of God. Today by his grace, we shall be looking at some other proven means of walking in the favour of God. I believe you are ready for this, so off we go!
HOW TO ENJOY GOD’S FAVOR?

3. From the Goodwill of others. Do you know that the good will or deeds of others can actually open the door of favour for you? This is absolutely true, as you can see from the following examples:

The Goodwill of Abraham opened the door of favour for Isaac Maritally speaking (Gen24v12-27).

The Goodwill of Isaac helped Jacob find favour in Padanaram (Gen.28v1-4).

The Good will of Jonathan brought Melphiboseth into favour before King David (2Sam.9v1,3).

The Goodwill of Barnabas brought Paul into favour before the Leaders of the Early Church (Acts 9v26-27).

I hope you can see what the power of a Goodwill can accomplish. It’s time for you to leverage this dimension of Favour too in your life. So, therefore, never underestimate what the power of goodwill can accomplish! I see you profiting immensely from this example of favour in Jesus name, amen.

4. Excelling at what you do. Whatever you do, it’s important that you do very well. In fact, do it in a way that it’s hard to replace you. DOING so will begin to attract unusual Favours into your life. This is another proven and tested means of attracting the favour of God (Eccl.9v10). So my dear brothers and sisters, how are you doing your work or assignment? Are you giving it your best shot? You need to always strive at delivering your best job or work, for this is the secret of obtaining uncommon favours into your life. In case you are still doubting the power of excelling at your vocation, check out the following examples of people who obtained favour as a result of their Exceptional Work:

Virtuous Woman in Proverbs 31verse 10, 29.

Daniel and his three friends in Babylon (Dan1v17, 20).

Hiram, the metalsmith and engraver (1ki.7v13-14).

If these men could accomplish these feats, you too can accomplish the same if you begin to take your assignment seriously. Start giving your work adequate attention and detail. Give it your Best. Strive to Continually Excel at your work; this will surely open you up to a Lifetime of Favours. I see you entering into this dimension of favours beginning from today henceforth. Rejoice my dear reader, for the days of labouring in vain is over; welcome to a New Season. Your Work will begin to command unusual Favours from Today!
