Pro.31v29: Many daughters have done well, but you excel them all.
Better service delivery is God’s ultimate for every one of His children and it’s possible to attain unto such heights in service. The Proverbs 31 woman achieved better service delivery in her services. This is a testament that you too can achieve better service delivery in whatsoever you may be doing. I have been sharing with you how to accomplish this and in our last lesson, I mentioned improving our quality of service as the third means of achieving a better service delivery. In this lesson today, I will be sharing with you more insights on how to improve the quality of service that you render.
vii. Know your job description. Be an expert at your job/work. Know what is expected of you and the roles you are supposed to play. This is one of the ways you can render a better service. To what extent do you understand your job/work?
viii. Know what your customers want. You need to understand that you are in business to service customers’ needs. So, your ability to give your customers what they want, when they want, and the way they want it will give you an added advantage and edge. It’s time to make this your priority.
ix. Give more than expected. Under-promise and over-deliver. Make sure you go the extra mile in rendering service to your customers as this is key to delivering better service.
x. Be patient and calm with people. You need to know that everybody is not the same. Therefore, be tolerant of people. Don’t be aggressive or harsh in your approach (Rom.12v18).
xi. Be honest and sincere. Be transparent in your dealings with your customers. You must always remember that trust is the foundation of any meaningful relationship. So build trust with people (Col.3v9).
xii. Always keep in constant touch with your customers. You need to remember that out of sight is out of mind. Keep the communication lines open by either calling, texting, visitation, remembering people’s faces or names, et cetera. (Acts 15v36).
xiii. Appreciate your workers and reward them appropriately. This will motivate and promote the culture of excellent customer service in your team or organization. Make sure you do this often (Rom.16v1-16).
Precious child of God, it’s time to deliver better service in whatsoever field of endeavor you may be involved in. It’s time to take your service to another level. I see you entering into this dimension as you actively engage these principles I have shared with you.
