Pro.31v29: Many daughters have done well, but you excel them all.

You are welcome back to our discussion on the subject of delivering better service in whatever we might be doing either personally or professionally. Better service delivery is obtainable and possible if we know what to do. Our discussion for some time now has been on how to achieve better service delivery. So far, I have shared 2 powerful keys with us on how to achieve this. Today, I want us to look at another important key!

ACHIEVING BETTER SERVICE DELIVERY:

3. By improving the quality of our services. This is another means of rendering better service that you need to explore and it’s something that is doable. So, in what ways can you improve the quality of the service that you render? You can do so by working on the following areas:

i. Improve the speed of delivery of your services. The faster the delivery of the services that you render, the better it is (Rom.11v28).

ii. Keep your promises. Be a man of your words. Don’t ever make promises that you cannot keep. Let your word be your bound. In this way, you will be able to achieve better service delivery (Ps.15v4).

iii. Be respectful. Show respect to every customer regardless of who they are. Avoid eye-service as men-pleasers but render service with goodwill (Eph.6v6-7). Treat people with dignity and respect.

iv. Be a good listener i.e. Have a listening ear. Listening is not the same as hearing but wanting to hear. You need to understand that 60% of communication happens through body language, so listen to what is not said as much as you listen to what is said (2Chro.10v1-15).

v. Use the right tone. Use a pleasant and friendly tone. It’s not just important to speak the right words but how the message is delivered is also important. So, my dear reader, choose the right tone (1Ki.12v6-8).

vi. Speak clearly. You need to communicate your message with clarity and purpose if you want to improve the quality of the service you render. Be self-confident and courageous. You cannot afford to be shy or insecure (1Cor.14v8).

Precious child of God, these are just some of the things you can do to improve the quality of your service. By the grace of God, I will be sharing more with you in our next lesson. Stay blessed and highly favoured.
