Pro.31v29: Many daughters have done well, but you excel them all.

I do believe that this series of teachings on “Better Service Delivery” is helping you a lot both in your personal and professional life as this is one of the primary goals of this lesson. Our focus has been on how to achieve better service delivery and today by His grace, I will be sharing another essential key in delivering better service. Without much ado, let’s examine them right away.

ACHIEVING BETTER SERVICE DELIVERY:

2. Become a better person. Becoming a better person will ultimately help you to do a better job, so your focus or priority should be on working on yourself. Daniel did an excellent job because of the excellent spirit he had (Dan.6v3). My dear reader, your motivation should be becoming a better person every day and this is possible to achieve if you take heed to the following things:

a. Grow every day. If you make growing your priority, it will amaze you the kind of transformation you will see in your life. The good thing about this is that there is no limit to how far you can grow. In fact, you can grow as much as you want or can! So what efforts are you putting into your growth? What are your growth plans? The earlier you put these things in place, the greater your opportunities to grow will be. So start growing professionally, emotionally, relationally, spiritually, and in every other area of your life. I want you to also remember that you can’t become better without growing, so it’s time to grow up (1Pet.2v2).

b. Be willing to change. The only constant thing is change and you can’t become a better person by remaining who you are. You need to make certain changes in your life in order to achieve better service delivery. Are you ready for these changes? The bitter part of this truth is that no one can make these changes for you. You are the only one who can do it. It’s time to start making these changes in Jesus name, amen (2Cor.3v18).

c. Be willing to learn. Learning is a continuous exercise for a better person and you can’t become better if you are unwilling to learn. My dear reader, you need to be open to knowledge, wisdom, and insight! You need to be willing to learn, unlearn and relearn if you will become a better person. Make learning your attitude and your best friend. Doing this is one of the best decisions you can ever make and as you do this, you will see a positive change in who you are becoming (Pro.15v12).

My dear reader, as you can see, you can become a better person. The possibilities and opportunities are there for you to take. As you take these initiatives, better service will be your heritage in Jesus name, amen.

Prayer for Today: Heavenly Father, help me to effect the changes in my life that will make me a better person in Jesus name, amen.

CONFESSION: I am committed to delivering better service. Therefore, I am open to becoming a better person. I am open to making changes in my life to make me better. I am willing to grow. I am ready to grow every day. I am willing to change and to learn. I am ready to learn, unlearn and relearn. As I make these changes and adjustments, I am changing for the better, amen.
