You are welcome back to our discussion on “Better Service Delivery.” I have taken time to lay a solid foundation on this concept of and I hope you have been blessed so far. However, my focus today will be on how you can achieve better service delivery in whatsoever you may be doing whether it is your secular or spiritual vocation. How can you achieve this? You can do this by paying attention to the following things:

ACHIEVING BETTER SERVICE DELIVERY:

1. Have a customer’s mindset. This is absolutely an important factor you need to consider if you want to really achieve better service delivery (Phil.2v5). What kind of mind do you have? Is it customer-friendly or otherwise? I have discovered that in order to have a customer’s mindset, you need to know certain truths about a customer. There are twelve truths that you need to know and they are as follows:
   
   i. See people as potential customers or clients. You need to look beyond the figure or number and start seeing customers as people (Jn.8v32).
   ii. Put people before profit and not the other way round. It’s customary for you to put profit first but ideally, the customer should come first. This is another fundamental truth about customers that you need to know if you will achieve better service delivery (1Cor.10v24).
   iii. Take care of your customers. My dear reader, if you don’t take care of your customer, someone else will do. Make your customers your priority (Matt.9v36-38).
   iv. The customer is always right. Dearly beloved, this is often called the first rule of customer service, and the earlier you know this, the better for you.
   v. A customer is the most important visitor on your premises. They are not dependent on you but you are dependent on them. This is why customers are your greatest assets; for, without them, there is no company or organization.
