2Chronicles 20v20: So they rose early in the morning and went out into the Wilderness of Tekoa; and as they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, ‘Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper

What kind of believer are you? Are you a believing believer or an unbelieving believer? At times, as believers, we do not believe in God like we ought to and this obviously causes us to miss out on God’s best for our lives. This is why it’s important to evaluate our beliefs from time to time. When it comes to believing God, where do you stand? According to 2Chronicles 20:20, believing will:

  • Guarantee your stability and establishment (Isaiah 7:9).
  • Open the doors of limitless possibilities (Luke 1:37; Mark 9:33).
  • Open the doors of performance and manifestation (Luke 1:45)

Besides these 3 things mentioned, there are many other positive things that the power of believing can accomplish for you.

However, it’s important to note that Satan and his cohorts will always attack and challenge your belief in your God. Don’t allow the world to rob you of the power of believing in your God. Hold fast to your confident assurance in Jehovah no matter what (Hebrew 10:35-39). So, how can you keep your faith alive in Him?

  • Believe in His word. Believe in the written word of God and you will not be put to shame. To believe His word is to believe in God.
  • Believe in His personal promise to you. Believe in His spoken or revealed word to you. He is too faithful to fail (Acts 27:25).

Dearly beloved, hold fast to believing in God; let nothing or anyone move you away from a blessed hope.
