I Corinthians 16verse13 ‘Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.

These are the days to be strong and not weak! This is why the great Apostle Paul admonishes us to be strong like men in our text scripture. So what exactly do we mean by being strong and courageous? It means to:
-Have a lion’s heart and not a timid heart. Christianity has always been associated with courage and not cowardice. 2Tim1v7. A lion’s heart is a heart that is not easily intimidated. And guess what? You qualify to have a lion’s heart because you are a product of a lion. Pro28v1: Rev5v5
-To be bold and confident in Christ. Isa41v10,13.
-Take your strength from the Lord. It also means not to be discouraged or dismayed. Ps42v5,11. So my dear reader, this is not the time to lose heart or hope but to draw strength from the Lord.
I am sure you are wondering why should I be strong and courageous? Yes, there are many reasons why you need to be so but I would like us to consider 3 reasons.

1. Because God wants you strong and not weak. It’s the devil that wants you weak and feebleminded but you must not give room to Satan. So it’s time to say no to every form of fear or insecurities. Eph6v10:2tim2v1

2. Because of the task and challenges ahead of you. This is another important reason for you to square up and not give up. This is not the time to turn back or look back but the time to be strong. If you don’t want to fail, then you need to remain strong and courageous. Jos1v6,7,9. You can’t afford to throw in the towel now because of the task ahead of you. There is still so much ahead of you. It doesn’t matter what you have been through or lost, because of what lies ahead of you, you need to be strong and courageous! May a new courage come upon you today!

3. Because your labor is not in vain. 1Cor15v58. This is another reason to be strong and courageous. It’s not yet over. Don’t listen to the lies of the enemy. You have not been wasting your time rather you have been investing your time. There is hope in your end. There is a glorious future ahead of you if you faint not. Keep up the good works. Keep being faithful and diligent! For your labor will not be in vain. Pro23v18. So my dear friends, be strong and courageous! This is the remedy for this hour! This is the message that you will usher you into your prophetic destiny. I see you getting there! If you are receiving this, say a Big AMEN.
