Philippians 4verse6-7 ‘V6-Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. V7-And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.’

We live in a world filled with anxieties and naturally as human beings we are prone to worrying a lot. So when you see God’s admonition in our text scripture (Philippians 4verse6-7), you may think that God has sent the wrong message to the wrong people. The truth of the matter is that God doesn’t make mistakes. So this message is obviously for you and I. Jn14v1,27. Infact if we take a quick look at our text scripture in some other translations, you will see that the message comes out clearer:
-Don’t worry about anything… God’s Word Translation
-Do not be anxious about anything. New International Version

My dear brothers and sisters, God’s will, is for us to be without worry, care or anxiety. He wants you to live a care free life and not a careless life. These are his thoughts and desires for us as a loving and caring Father. I know the tendency is for you to think that it’s impossible to be without worry but I want you to know that God won’t put more on you than you can bear. 1Jn5v3. This simply means that he will never ask you to do things that you cannot do. My God won’t send you on an errand that you can’t complete. He will also not enter you into a race that you cannot finish. For every calling, there is an equipping for the journey or assignment. So what is the implications of these words? It simply means that:

-You have what it takes not to worry. This power is available to you and it’s at your disposal. So it’s time for you to use it. Philip4v6-7
-It’s possible for you to live a care free life. It’s possible to fulfill this promise. One good example of these is the testimony of ordinary men and women like you who have conquered worry. So it means that if they can do it, you too can do it. Rom10v12: Philip4v13
-His Grace is more than sufficient for you. Yes, Our God is unlimited in his grace; this grace is more than enough for every one of your needs, including worry or anxiety. So cheer up, your victory is here! 1Pet5v10

My dear reader, I believe that you can now see that living a care free life is possible. May this be a living reality in your life.
