Luke 18verse1: ‘There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth.’

You are welcome back to our discussion on why some prayers are unanswered. As I have established in our last lesson, most unanswered prayers are due to some inconsistencies in certain areas of our lives. In our last lesson, I took the time to explain the first area of inconsistency. Today by the special grace of God I will be sharing with you the second area of inconsistency. So if you are ready for this, here we go!

2. Inconsistency in our Faith. Your faith has a major role to play in receiving answers to your prayers. Faith is the invisible hand that you use to receive things from God. Heb11v6. So this is why your faith has to be alive and active all the time if you want your prayers to be answered. Having faith today and not having faith next week can hinder the answers that you seek. So, my dear friends, the answer is to keep the switch of faith on all the time! Matt21v22. From my experience, I have discovered that inconsistency in our faith walk and life can hinder your prayers from being answered. So my admonition to you today is to be consistent in your faith. Don’t become weary in your faith. You must keep believing that you have obtained what you have prayed for. Heb10v35-39.

I am sure you are wondering how in the world, this can be done! Well, it’s possible to keep your faith alive by:

-Not letting go of God’s promises or words. Keep your eyes on his word especially his promises for what you have asked for. Doing this exercise will keep your faith strong and active. Pro4v20-22.

-By thanking God for the answer. This is also another important means of keeping your faith active. This was what Father Abraham did as he was waiting for the promise of Isaac. (Rom4v20). This is what you also need to do for your faith to be strong and virile. For how long are you supposed to do this? You keep doing this until the answer manifests physically. Col4v2.

My brothers and sisters, this is the way to make your faith strong to receive what you are praying for. I pray that as you receive these Nuggets, your faith will be strengthened in receiving the things that you desire. If you believe this can you say a resounding amen!

CONFESSION: I believe that an end has come to unanswered prayers in my life because my eyes of understanding have been opened to the truths of God’s word! As I embrace these nuggets and run with them, my prayer life will never be the same again in Jesus’ name amen. Glory be to God for it is a new day for me!
