Overcoming Stagnation 2

Deuteronomy 2verse3 ‘Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward.’

My dear brothers and sisters, stagnation is never God’s will for you! In fact, the almighty God detests stagnation in any form or fashion, so why settle for it also in your life. Lk13v6-9. As a matter of fact, you must not accommodate stagnation in any form or fashion! It’s dangerous to do so and if you don’t mind, I would like to throw more light on the dangers of stagnation.
DANGERS OF STAGNATION:

1. Complacency sets in. This is one of the dangers of stagnation. You become careless and slothful about the things you shouldn’t permit or allow. Jug18v7

2. Dullness sets in. You lose your ability to hear like you ought to hear God. I mean your sensitivity drops. And this is never a good situation to be in. Rom8v14.

3. You lose your zeal and fervency. In other words, you are not as fervent as you were before. Gal5v7.

4. You lose your beauty and appeal. This is why stagnant water stinks.

5. You become a breeding ground for all kinds of ills. This simply translates to the works of Satan having a free day in your life. Jam3v16

My dear brothers and sisters, this is not an exhaustive list. But it’s very clear and obvious that stagnation is not good by any means! So take up your stand against stagnation. As you begin to rebel against or resist any form of stagnation, watch and see how your life will turnaround for the good in Jesus name. If you are receiving this, can I hear a resounding amen?

CONFESSION: I will not settle for a life of stagnation! I was meant by God to go forward and make progress. Therefore I resist and renounce every form of stagnation in my life! Stagnation will no longer control my life because Christ is my Lord and Savior! I am free now from the bondage of stagnation! Hallelujah!
