INTRODUCTION

Do you understand the concept of a Church Worker? Who is a Church Worker? What do they do or what are they expected to do? These are some of the questions we intend to answer in this training series and may you be richly blessed in Jesus name.

A. WHO IS A WORKER?
– A Worker is a labourer of God or one who labours in the Vineyard of God. Someone who is working for God or serving the Lord. Rom.16v1,6,12,21 (A labourer: a toiler, worker, teacher, one who works for hire especially an Agricultural Worker. Matt.9v37- 38: 10v10).
– Examples of Workers in the Bible:
i. God (Jn.5v17)
ii. Jesus Christ (Jn.9v4: 4v34: 17v4; Lk.8v1)
iii. Apostle Paul (Col.1v29; 1Cor.4v12: 15v10; 1The.2v9)
iv. Others i.e. Priscilla/Aquilla (Rom.16v3; Philemon (chapter 1v1); Philp.4v2-3
(Euodias/Syntyche, Clement/Other Women); Justus (Col.4v11); Timothy (Rom.16v21; 1Thes.3v2) etc.
