Winning In The Race Of Life 3

1 Corinthians 9verse24-26: ‘V24- Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. V25- And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. V26- I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air.’ 

You are welcome back to our discussion on winning in the race of life. Yes, life can be likened to a race and how you run the race will determine if you will win or not. I am sure you want to win but winning is not an automatic thing but it’s something that you have a part in. And today, by his grace, I will be sharing more light on how you can run so as to emerge as a winner at the end of the day! If you are ready for this, so off we go! 

How To Win: 

5. Run for the Right Reasons. If you want to win in the race of life, let your motives for running be genuine and sincere. Don’t run because of envy or jealousy or greed and covetousness. Don’t run because you are trying to prove a point. Let your motivation be to please and glorify God. Let your motivation be to accomplish your destiny and fulfil your purpose. Run for the right reasons so that you win big at the end of the day. 2Ki5v20. Are you willing to do this? 

6. Run with the Right People. You need the right people in your corner if you are going to win in the race of life. So who exactly is in your corner? Make sure you walk with firelighters and not firefighters! Walk with people who can help you achieve your goals and also fulfil your purpose. You will become like those people you closely associate with. So make sure you choose your associations wisely. Walk with people who can inspire and motivate you in becoming the best version of yourself. Don’t walk with people who are either expired or have nothing to offer you. Be deliberate and intentional about your association! As you pay more attention to this factor, you begin to notice a change for the better in your life. 2Ki4v22; Pro27v17. 

I see you winning on a higher level as you give yourself to these truths in Jesus name, amen.
