1John 5verse4 ‘For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.’
You are welcome back to our discussion on the voice of faith. I have established to us from our last lesson that the voice of victory is the voice of faith. However, I will be sharing with you the second part of what the voice of faith is all about. So, what is the voice of faith all about?
1. It’s the Voice of Thanksgiving. The voice of faith is the voice of thanksgiving and the voice of thanksgiving is the voice of miracles! I hope you can see the connections! One way you can show you really believe God is by your gratitude or appreciation! Real faith in God is all about thanking God for the answer until the physical manifestation comes to pass. Faith in God rejoices in God and his Word before the physical manifestation. Rom4v19-20. This is why the voice of faith is the voice of thanksgiving. And my dear reader, if you really believe that God has done it for you, you will be thanking God for the answer even before it manifests physically. So anyone who truly believes God will thank God for the manifestation of their heart’s desire. You see this principle at work in the scriptures, especially in the story of father Abraham when he was waiting for his promise child. So, this simply means that thanksgiving is the language of faith and miracles. My dear friends, you also need to learn how to mix your faith with thanksgiving, if it’s going to work wonders!
Before we close this lesson, let me share some important ground rules as per the voice of faith being the voice of thanksgiving:
-Once you have prayed about a matter and you have released your faith, keep thanking God for the answer until it comes.Col4v2
-Whenever you think about the matter, offer thanksgiving to God from the point of view of it being done. Ps50v14-16
My dear brothers and sisters, if you can do this faithfully, I believe that your faith will ultimately prevail in Jesus name amen.
Other Scriptural References: Philip4v6-7; Acts15v25-26; 1Thess5v18
Prayer for Today: Thank You, Father, for opening my eyes to these truths! I will never remain the same in Jesus name, amen.
CONFESSION: I believe that the voice of faith is the voice of thanksgiving! Therefore, as I engage the weapon of thanksgiving, my faith is strengthened and empowered! And as I hold onto my faith in praise, my expectations will not be cut off. Hallelujah!
