The Secrets Of Economic Empowerment (11)

Deut.8v18: And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.

Dearly beloved, I believe you have been enjoying this series on the subject of economic empowerment as you can also see from our text scripture in (Deut.8v18) that it’s God’s will for you to be economically empowered. I have shared some very powerful principles that will make this to be a reality in our lives. By the grace of God, today, I intend to share with you another principle that will bring you into the land of financial freedom. I believe that you are ready for this. So without wasting time, let’s delve into this powerful instrument right away.

HOW TO PROSPER ECONOMICALLY

• Make good use of the opportunities that come your way. To be economically empowered means that you need to know how to seize the moment (Eph.5v16). Opportunities are everywhere. The opportunities of economic empowerment abound unto every one of us, but not everyone can see them. The problem is that we are not all on the same level regarding our capacity to see. Some people can see better than others, while others take longer for them to see, and sadly, some never see anything. The future always belongs to those who can see opportunities and seize them. Even as we are in a time of pandemic in our world today, I want you to know that opportunities abound even in this season for you to break forth financially. Opportunities are available to you, and  I want you to know that in every difficulty, there are opportunities and in every opportunity, there are difficulties. It just depends on what you see and where you are. I want you to know that one of the purposes of this series of teachings is to help you see the opportunities that God has placed around you to make, manage, and multiply money. I pray for you that you will be able to see the opportunities around you now in order to be able to break forth financially. I want you to know that you need not postpone until tomorrow what you can do today. It’s time to overcome procrastination. It’s time to take charge of your financial destiny. By the way, how can you see opportunities where you are? I will like to share with you some important truths that will help you to see opportunities wherever you are:
• Change the way you look at things. Your perspective or mindset determines what you see. Do you know that a problem is an opportunity?  It just depends on your mindset. So what kind of mindset do you have? (2Cor.4v18)
• Be positive minded and not negative minded. Being positively minded will open you up to opportunities, while negative minded will shut the door of opportunities. So what kind of mindset do you possess? (Phil.4v8)
• Be ready to change. The only constant thing in life is change and the reason many people are stuck in life is because they’re not ready to change. It takes changing your mind in order for you to be able to take advantage of the opportunities around you. So are you ready to change? (Eph.4v23)
• Act on the opportunities that come your way. It takes taking action for opportunities to be converted into advantages. So you need to be the kind of person who takes steps or makes moves in the direction of whatever opportunity comes your way. So it’s time for you to get busy. It’s time to be an action-oriented person and stop being passive or Idle (Jam.2v26). Action-oriented people become successful people while passive-oriented people remain unsuccessful! So what kind of choice are you going to make today? Are you going to be that kind of person that takes decisive actions on the windows of opportunities that comes their way or the kind of person that complains all day long? The choice is yours! I pray that you will begin to pay attention to the opportunities around you from today and, more importantly, take full advantage of them. You need to also remember that opportunities are time-bound.  May you not miss your moment. You need to strike the hammer when the iron is hot. So what are you waiting for? (Pro.12v27)

It’s time to begin to make good use of the opportunities that comes your way. As you do this consistently, you will enter into your financial inheritance in Jesus name.

Prayer for Today: Heavenly Father, open my eyes to seeing the opportunities you have prepared for my financial lifting. Help me to take full advantage of such opportunities in Jesus name, amen.

CONFESSION: Thank you, Heavenly Father, for giving me the power to get wealth. Thank you for opening my eyes to see the opportunities that you have placed around me, and as I take advantage of these opportunities, my financial story is changing for the better. I am not a lazy fellow, but I am a diligent person when it comes to taking advantage of opportunities. As I explore and prospect opportunities around me, I am becoming economically buoyant. I am empowered in all of my ways. I am not just blessed, but I am a blessing to my generation. My days of financial struggles are over because my financial life is changing for the better as I take full advantage of the windows of opportunities around me to the glory of his name in Jesus name.
