1Cor. 10v23: All things are lawful for me, but not all things are helpful; all things are lawful for me, but not all things edify.
My Dearly Beloved ones, I believe you are enjoying these series of messages on putting first Things first. Your understanding of this principle will simplify your life and also make it more meaningful. This is why you need to live by this principle in order to stand out and not be put to Shame. In our last Lesson, I shared with you three of the most important things in our lives. Today by his Grace, we will be talking about four more powerful things that you need to pay attention to; if you are ready to go, then get ready to check this out.
THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS IN LIFE:
4. Your Time. Your Time is actually your life, so you should be able to use it wisely and purposefully too. Your time is one of your most precious assets so make sure you use it properly. Avoid wasting or whiling away time rather invest your time into the things that really matter and would ultimately contribute to your life and destiny (Eph.5v16). God has actually given to all of us the same amount of time but what we pack into our time is different. It’s time to gain control of your time so that you can gain control of your life. Start saying yes to the things you ought to say yes and also say no to the things you ought to say no to. In this way, your life will become better and stronger.
5. Your Purpose and Destiny. This is another important thing that should matter to you and it’s one of the things that you need to focus on. Stop living anyhow; live according to your purpose and dreams. Let everything you do revolve around your purpose and destiny. Pursue your purpose and destiny with everything that is within you. Doing this is what will bring you the greatest satisfaction and joy. It will also bring you the greatest rewards in life. So don’t ever joke with your purpose and destiny. At the end of the day, this is what God would ultimately ask of you when you stand before his Throne. So my dear brothers and sisters, make sure your focus is always on your purpose and destiny (Jer.1v4-5; Pro.16v4).
6. Your Relationships. This is another important thing that you need to give priority and attention to. Essentially your relationships consist of your family, friends and mentors. This relationship makes your life richer and more complete. This is why you need to prioritize your time with your family, friends and mentors. Having the right kind of people in your life is priceless and knowing you have people who care for you and will always be there for you is the kind of support you need. So don’t ever take these people for granted because they are the bridges to your destiny (Eccle.4v9; Pro.27v17).
7. Your Peace. Protect and guard your peace Jealously as this is one of your most priced assets in life and it should be one of your major priorities in life (Philip.4v6-7). So stay away from anything that steals or threatens your peace. Don’t do anything that steals your peace because anything that does so will ultimately steal or threaten your prosperity and Well-being. This is why you need to make it one of your priorities in life (Col.3v15). So my dear reader, always guard your peace because your progress and prosperity is connected to it. I pray for you today that as you start paying attention to these major things, your story will change for the better in Jesus name, amen.

Prayer for Today: Holy Spirit, thank you for coming to my aid and rescue regarding the things that are really important in life in Jesus name, amen.
CONFESSION: By the grace and wisdom of God, I am gaining an understanding of the principle of First Things. As I walk in this principle, my life and testimony are changing for the better. I receive courage and his help in focusing on the things that are really important to my life and destiny.
I stop chasing shadows neither will I waste my energies anyhow. It’s a new day for me as I begin to maximize my life and the opportunities around me to the glory of his name. Thank you, father, for changing my life for the better in Jesus name, amen.
