Proverbs 11v30: The fruit of the righteousness is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise.

I trust we are enjoying this series on the subject of Soul Winning. Soul Winning is a very important subject matter and also something very dear to the heart of the Father. It is clear from our text scripture in (Pro.11v30) that it’s one of the visible signs of fruitfulness as a child of God and this is why God wants you to be committed to the business of winning souls. So far, I have also shared with you some of the major reasons why you need to take the mandate of winning souls very seriously. Today by the special grace of God, we will continue to look at another major reason why you need to take the business of winning souls seriously. Are you ready for this?  So here we go.

REASONS FOR BEING A SOUL WINNER:

1. Because it is one of the most profitable and rewarding ventures, you can ever be involved in. Notice the choice of my words, most profitable and rewarding; that is exactly what the business of winning souls does or brings into someone’s life. In case you do not know, soul-winning is highly rewarding, beneficial, and has many benefits and advantages. This is why you cannot afford to miss out on these golden opportunities that God has prepared to empower your life. In case you were wondering what kind of benefits or rewards lie in winning souls, I would like to share with you at least about six of these benefits right away:

• The blessings of fruitfulness. Guess what? Those who win souls will be fruitful in their lives and by fruitfulness, this applies to every area of their lives, spirit, soul, body, financial material, and all that they do. This is why you cannot afford to allow this opportunity to pass you by (Jn.15v16).
• The blessings of gaining or growing in wisdom. Winning souls make you wise. This is one very powerful means of gaining wisdom in your life and believe me you need wisdom in every area of life. So do not allow this opportunity of becoming wise to pass you by. This is why you need to be involved in the business of winning souls (Dan.12v3).
• The blessings of walking or operating in the power of God. Winning souls makes the power of God available to you. It looks like God has nothing to confirm because we are not on the go. We are not acting on his word and therefore, there is no avenue for God’s power to be dispensed or discharged. This is why you need to be on the go if you want to see the miraculous signs and wonders at work in your life (Mk.16v15, 17-20; Acts 1v8).
• The blessings of answered prayers. Nothing can be compared to the joy of answered prayers and winning souls is one of the platforms by which you secure access to your prayers. I believe you want to receive answers to your prayers, don’t you? This is why you need to jump on this great opportunity to secure answers to your prayers by becoming a diligent soul winner today (1Jn.3v22; Jn.8v29).
• The blessings of God’s favour. God is pleased with a soul winner and what a blessing for God to take delight in you because when God takes delight in you and your matter, everything goes well for you. So, dearly beloved, you don’t want to miss out on this golden opportunity of experiencing God’s favour. It’s time to get busy. It’s time to be on the go for the master so that unusual and strange favours will begin to attend to your works (Pro.16v7; Acts 7v46).
• The blessings of receiving the crown of rejoicing in eternity. There are several crowns or rewards that the scriptures make mention of. One of which is:

– The crown of rejoicing. This is going to be the portion of the diligent soul winner in heaven. I want you to know that our status will not be the same in heaven. This is why you need to be busy for the master while you are on this side of eternity. Commit yourself to the business of winning souls from today. I see you rising to this challenge today!

My dear reader, it is very clear from what we have discussed today that the blessings and the rewards of winning souls are incomparable to any other thing that you can find elsewhere. This is why you and I need to get busy with the business of winning souls. What you are going to get and who you are going to become as a result of taking this mandate seriously cannot be bought with money or given to you by any other person. So what are you waiting for? It is time to take upon you the business of winning souls. I pray that as you respond to this call, your life will never remain the same.

Prayer for Today: Heavenly Father, I receive your fresh baptism upon my life today to become a diligent soul winner.

CONFESSION: Winning souls is my preoccupation and business! I commit myself to the business of winning souls from today! I will not be weary nor discouraged as I go after the souls of men. Therefore, the blessings of a diligent soul winner are mine. It will not elude me. It shall be evident in all that I do. Glory be to God, for my life is experiencing a major turnaround on all sides!
