You are welcome back to our discussion on the subject of sexual faithfulness. This issue is such a big deal, and it’s paramount to the heart of God for his children. The benefits and gains of sexual faithfulness are nothing to be compared with flirting around. According to studies and research, it has also been discovered that married couples live longer, are more productive, and live healthier and happier lives if they have only one sexual partner at a time. This is why you also need to strive to keep your vows with your partner. In today’s lesson, I will be sharing more insights about the need for sexual faithfulness, if you are ready, here we go!
WHY SEXUAL FAITHFULNESS:
14. Being unfaithful brings certain diseases into your life. It is a fact that you are more open to catching certain venereal diseases as a result of sleeping around. Let me also add that not only will you be open to sexual diseases but also diseases of the heart. Hence, the reason why we need sexual faithfulness in our marriages. 1Cor6v16, 18.
15. There is no benefit in being unfaithful. That is to say that you will derive no fruit, reward, or advantage from being unfaithful. On the contrary, it will just bring you pain, regret, and destruction at the end of the day. Pro6v32-33.
16. The person you are being unfaithful with doesn’t have your best interest at heart but they are only seeking to satisfy their selfish interests and desires. This is why you should say no to any form of temptation along this line. Eph4v27.
17. Because at the end of the day, the thrill of unfaithfulness will go, so why be unfaithful in the first place? Pro14v12.
18. If you don’t want to be faithful, then why are you in that marriage in the first place? There is no point in committing if you will not be faithful! Heb13v4.
19. Being faithful is one of the pillars and foundation of a successful marriage. This has been proven again and again, so if you want to be successful in your marital venture, you need to be faithful to your partner. Eccl9v9.
20. Being Faithful helps to strengthen the bond of love between a man and his wife. There will ultimately be no love in a relationship that is characterized by cheating and flirting. Heb13v1. My dear friends, I believe that you can see the reasons why it’s better to be faithful to your partner in marriage.
