1 Corinthians 15verse58: ‘Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.’
As you can see from our text scripture (1Corinthians15verse58) there are benefits of being consistent in our service to God. God does not just want you to be consistent but to also enjoy the benefits or advantages of being consistent. So, what kind of benefits do you stand to enjoy as a result of being consistent?
1. It makes you a better worker or vessel in God’s hand. You see, practice makes perfect and you become as you practice. So, the more consistent you become in your service to God, the better worker you become. Philip2v19-21.
2. It gives you enduring success. It takes consistency to be a winner. This is why it is the most consistent team that ultimately wins championships! So, if you want to be a serial winner, you need to be consistent in your work for God. 1Cor15v10.
3. It helps you to generate power. In consistency lies the power. If you want God’s power to be released or activated in your life and service, then you must be consistent. The men and women who have carried God’s power have always been consistent in their walk with God. So, my admonition to you today is to become consistent in your service. Acts14v3.
4. It helps you to build or gain momentum. Momentum is the best friend of a leader and when you have momentum everything will be working for you! It is like everything you touch works or turns to gold. But the key to making this happen is consistency in your service. My dear friends, if you want to continue moving forward in your life, you need to make consistency your best friend. Pro28v20.
Are you ready to embrace consistency in your service to God? Are you willing to pay the price? The answers you give to these questions will determine where you will end up at the end of the day! I hope to see you at the top!
