Genesis 12 verses 1 – 4: ‘V1- Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: V2- And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: V3- And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. V4- So Abram departed, as the Lord had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.’

You are welcome back to our discourse on pursuing your dreams. Just as Father Abraham went after his God-given dreams, you also need to go after your dreams. As I said in our last lesson, those who pursue their dreams will have a great tomorrow. So, what are you doing with the dreams of your heart? Have you started going after them? I believe these truths that I will be sharing with you today will spur you into action.  How do you then pursue your dreams? You pursue your dreams by:

4. Start doing something about your dreams.

Talk is cheap, but action is costly. Don’t just be a talker but a doer. Be a man or woman of your word. By this, I simply mean to back up your words with actions. This is how to make your dreams come to pass. As a general rule, make sure a day never goes by without you doing something about your dreams. When you take such steps, you will realize that your dreams will truly see the light of day. Jam 2 v 20, 26. The power is in doing, so my dear reader, start taking steps from today.

5. Invest your time and resources in your dreams.

This is how you make your dreams come to reality.  Are you ready to spend and be spent for your dream? Are you willing to sacrifice? These are part of the investments that your dreams require if it’s going to see the light of day. When I was going to start my radio program some years ago, I initially started it with the money that I had saved up before God gave me partners to carry the financial burden. Jn 12 v 24. Are you ready to invest your time and resources into your dreams?

6. Step out by faith.

Pursuing your dreams is a faith project and you also need to remember that everything in the kingdom operates by faith. Rom 14 v 23. Faith is believing in the dark what God told you in the light. I know from experience as you step out by faith to accomplish your dreams you will encounter contrary situations to what you saw or what God told you. Don’t let this discourage you; rather, let it inspire you to go after your dreams. Faith always sees the Invisible and does the Impossible. As you move by faith, be rest assured that God will grant you uncommon victories and breakthroughs. Keep on trusting and moving; you will certainly get to your destination. Heb 11 v 8 – 10.

My dear reader, I believe you have been inspired and motivated to act by these truths I have shared with you today. I look forward to seeing you in your land of manifestation. If you believe this, say a big AMEN.

CONFESSION: My dreams will see the light of day because I am a worker and not a wisher. I choose to cooperate with God and the laws of nature in working out my dreams. I will not be complacent, nor will I be full of excuses, I am taking ownership of my dreams and destiny in Jesus name, amen.
