Luke 13verse6-9 ‘V6-He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none. V7-Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? V8-And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it: V9-And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.’

It is clear and obvious from our text scripture that God has zero tolerance for barrenness. So if God hates barrenness, why are you then putting up with it? This is why God is sending you this series of teachings today and I strongly believe that it will set you on the path of fruitfulness galore in Jesus name, amen. Since barrenness is not an option, then you should be interested in breaking the stronghold of any form of barrenness in your life? Jn15v8, 16. Fruitfulness excites God and even glorifies him. God’s purpose for you is to be fruitful and to keep bearing fruits. So my dear friends, fruitfulness should be the order of the day for you! In order to overcome barrenness, you need to know what it is because to dislocate an enemy, you must first locate it. So what is barrenness?

1. Fruitless Efforts. This has to do with labouring with nothing to show for your labours or efforts. It also means no returns on anything you do. It is a profitless situation. This is one dimension of barrenness and in the name of Jesus Christ an end has come to this kind of barrenness in Jesus name amen. Lk5v4-6.

2. To be Sterile. This kind of barrenness has to do with the destruction of the generative organs. This was the kind of barrenness that the likes of Sarah, Rebekah and Manoah’s wife had in the Bible. This kind of barrenness is often termed impossible from the medical point of view but with my God,there is no form of barrenness that he can’t deal with. So rejoice because this kind of barrenness shall no longer hold you bound in Jesus name, amen. Gen11v30. Your hour of deliverance has come! If you believe this can I hear a thunderous amen?
